PKL Stil Rampant in Tanah Abang

A number of sidewalks in Tanah Abang Market area, Central Jakarta once again occupied by street vendor (PKL). No wonder, the sidewalk becomes narrow and uncomfortable impassable.

Here, operation against PKL is rampant but it's unoptiomal. And they return to sell there. The officer should be more assertive

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, the sidewalk occupied by PKL is seen from Jl Jati Baru, precisely in front of Tanah Abang Station until Jl Kebon Jati Block F.

In the field, there are some Satpol PP officers standby. But they observed did not take action against PKL.

PKL Carts in Central Jakarta Seized

Ida (32), a local citizen admitted she was very disturbed with PKL in Tanah Abang area. He added, operation in the field is still unoptimal.

"Here, operation against PKL is rampant but it's unoptiomal. And they return to sell there. The officer should be more assertive," she stressed, Monday (8/22).
